HAMBURG, NY – The Buffalo State men's and women's cross country teams opened the season in dominant fashion at the annual Hilbert Invite taking first on both sides.
Noah Holden (Clarence Center, NY/Clarence) and
Lexi Hoffman (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore East) each took home first for the Bengals.
THE BENGAL BREAKDOWN
- Holden finished first on the 5k course with a time of 16:25.3 with Josh Mayer (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) finishing second with a time of 16:38.6.
- Hoffman crossed the line first in her Bengal debut with a time of 21:37.7.
- Jorja Smith (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) and Katelyn Becker (Buffalo, NY/School for Applied Tech) finished second and third, respectively with a time of 22:25.1 and 23:10.1.
