BUFFALO, NY – Buffalo State's Jason Gatti-Ezard (Rochester, NY/Spencerport) has been recognized for his outstanding athletic and academic accomplishments, earning a spot on the 2025 Football Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators.

To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must display combined excellence in their sport and in the classroom, maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above through at least two full semesters at their institution, while also participating in 90%, or starting 66%, of their team's contests during the season.
 
Gatti-Ezard, a senior business administration major, has been with the Bengals each of the last three seasons, serving 2025 as the primary punter for the team. Appearing in all ten games, Gatti-Ezard nailed seven punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line with a long of 45 yards. He also hit a season-long field goal of 27 yards against Rochester, and was 6-7 on extra point attempts throughout the season.
