Football Announces 2026 Regular Season Schedule

BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State football team, led by head coach Mike Neale, has released their schedule for the upcoming 2026 season. The Bengals will play their ten set games featuring three non-conference games and seven against Liberty League opponents.
 
Buffalo State will open the season with two road games at Brockport (Sept. 3) for the I-90 Bowl and at Hartwick (Sept. 12). The Bengals will then return home for the first time of the season for Homecoming against Alfred State (Sept. 19). Neale's squad will then open Liberty League play with a pair of road contests at Union (Sept. 26) and Rochester (Oct. 3).
 
The Bengals will then host RPI (Oct. 10) before heading into the bye week. Coming out of the break, the Bengals will host three of their final four games featuring Hilbert (Oct. 24), Ithaca (Oct. 31), at St. Lawrence (Nov. 7), and Hobart (Nov. 14) for Senior Day.
