BUFFALO, NY –Nyla Wilson-Epps (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry) of the Buffalo State outdoor track & field team was named the SUNYAC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for her respective performance on Friday.

Wilson-Eps continued her breakout freshman campaign with another school record in the shot put at the UB Invite on Friday. Her mark of 12.49 meters gives her a third school record this outdoor season and the top mark in the SUNYAC.

The outdoor track and field team returns to action this weekend as they will travel to Fredonia on Saturday.
