COLLEGEVILLE, PA – The Buffalo State men's and women's outdoor track & field team concluded action today at AARTFC Regional Championships hosted by Ursinus College. As a team, the Bengal men finished tied for 32nd overall while the Bengal women finished tied for 27th overall.
 
THE BENGAL BREAKDOWN

• Natalia Sawyer (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) finished third in the 400-meter run and sixth in the 200-meter run.
• Sidney Morris (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) raced the 800-meter run with a time of 2:03.90.
• Madison MacNeill (Buffalo, NY/West Seneca West) was 12th in the high jump at 1.55 meters. Heidi House (Sanborn, NY/Starpoint) also competed in the event as she finished at 1.50 meters.
• Nyla Wilson-Epps (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry) finished 12th in the shot put with a mark of 39.25 meters.
• In the men's throwing events, Ethan Mitrano (Penfield, NY/Penfield) and Matthew Thompson (Clifton Park, NYShenendehowa) each finished in the top-20 of the shot put.
• Christian Chance (Valley Stream, NY/Valley Stream) also earned a top-20 finish in the triple jump in his regional meet debut.

The Bengals will await the results from the remaining meets around the country to determine if they have punched their tickets to NCAA Championships next weekend.
