BUFFALO, NY---Buffalo State (6-5-1/2-2-1) and Cortland (5-3-3/3-1-1) played 110 minutes of soccer, but were unable to settle anything, playing to a 1-1 tie in a SUNYAC game today at Coyer Field.

Cortland opened the scoring on a header off of a corner kick by Bridgette DeSantis (Rotterdam/Mohonasen) from Kelsey Allen (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa). Buffalo State pulled even just under seven minutes later, when a through ball from Heather Buzzelli (Lancaster/Grand Island) got behind the Cortland goalkeeper, and Barb Kiliszek (Lancaster/Depew) deposited it in the back of the net.

Cortland held an 18-12 advantage in shots for the game. Pam Monnier (Northport/Northport) had three saves for the Red Dragons, and Meghan Jarrell (Hamburg/Hamburg) made seven stops for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will host Oswego tomorrow at 4 p.m.
