POTSDAM, NY—Buffalo State (8-5-1/4-2-1) continued its winning ways, as the Bengals blanked host Potsdam (7-6-2/0-6-1), 3-0, in a SUNYAC game today. The win marks the sixth shutout of the season for Buffalo State.

Ashley Mazurkiewicz (Grand Island/Grand Island) opened the scoring for the Bengals in the 29th minute with an assist from Heather Buzzelli (Lancaster/Grand Island). Lindsey Cote (Fort Edward/S. Glens Falls) added another tally in the first half to put the Bengals up by two.

Kelsey Dieter (Erie, PA/Iroquois) scored an unassisted goal at the 82:52 mark to finish the scoring for Buffalo State. Barb Kiliszek (Depew/Lancaster) also had with one assist. 

Buffalo State outshot Potsdam, 12-3, while Meghan Jarrell (Hamburg/Hamburg) earned the victory without having to make a save.

The Bengals continue their North Country trip tomorrow at Plattsburgh.
