BUFFALO, NY—Fredonia (10-5-1/4-4-1) kept its playoff hopes alive with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over host Buffalo State (8-6-2/4-3-2) in a SUNYAC game today at Coyer Field.

Buffalo State opened the scoring 52 seconds into the second half with an unassisted tally by Courtney Hilliker (Williamsville/Williamsville South). Fredonia roared back, however, scoring in the 64th and 68th minutes. Reilly Condidorio (Leroy/Leroy) netted the first Blue Devil goal with an assist from Jacki Borcyk (Rochester/Greece Odyssey), and then set up the game winner, scored by Lauren Heilweil (Binghanton/Chinengo Forks).

Fredonia outshot Buffalo State, 12-7. Meghan Jarrell (Hamburg/Hamburg) made six saves for the Bengals, and Becky Scroger (Spencerport/Spencerport) had four stops for the Blue Devils.

Buffalo State will conclude its regular season at Geneseo on Saturday. Fredonia will travel to Brockport on Friday.
