ELMIRA, NY—Ashley Mazurkiewicz (Grand Island/Grand Island) scored the game-winner in the 61st minute to give visiting Buffalo State (6-5) a 2-1 win over Elmira (2-9) today in a non-conference contest.

Barb Kiliszek (Depew/Lancaster) opened the scoring for the Bengals in the 25th minute with an assist from Hannah Williams (Webster/Webster Thomas). Elmira evened the score just 2:23 later, but Mazurkiewicz score the lone goal of the second half with an assist from Kristina Boberskyj (Rochester/Greece-Odyssey).

Buffalo State will host Cortland in a SUNYAC game on Friday at 4 p.m.
