BUFFALO, NY—Lauren McGee (Old Bethpage/John F. Kennedy) scored 53 seconds into overtime to give visiting Oneonta (5-2/2-0) a 1-0 win over Buffalo State (3-5/0-2) in a SUNYAC game today at Coyer Field.

After over 90 minutes of scoreless play, Christine Marra (Thiells/North Rockland) sent a cross from the left corner that slipped through the hands of the Bengals' goalkeeper and landed on the foot of McGee, who deposited the ball in the back of the empty net.

Oneonta outshot Buffalo State, 15-8. Kayla Murphy (Pine City/Southside) made four saves for the shutout. Meghan Jarrell (Hamburg/Hamburg) had five saves in goal for Buffalo State.

The Bengals will host New Paltz in another league game tomorrow at 1 p.m.
