PLATTSBURGH, NY—No. 2-ranked Plattsburgh (13-3-1/9-3-0) scored four power-play and one shorthanded goals as it overpowered visiting Buffalo State (2-11-4/2-7-4), 10-0, in an ECAC West game today at Stafford Arena.

Plattsburgh outshot the Bengals, 52-9. All three Bengals' goalie in uniform saw time. Alyssa Koniar (New Berlin, WI/U. School of Milwaukee) started the game, but allowed three goals on 11 shots. Kelly Mendola (Buffalo/Kenmore East) then allowed four goals while making 23 saves, and #A.J. Sliwinski# (Clarence/Clarence) played the third period, surrendering three goals with 11 saves.

The Cardinals will host the Bengals again tomorrow at 2 p.m.
