CORTLAND, NY—Barb Kiliszek (Depew/Lancaster) had a goal and an assist to lead Buffalo State (4-3-5/2-2-1) to a critical 2-1 SUNYAC win today at host Cortland (8-3-1/2-2-1).

Cortland opened the scoring on a long free kick in the 17th minute, but the Bengals roared back with a pair of second-half goals to complete the weekend sweep. Kiliszek pulled Buffalo State even in the 52nd minute when she completed a long run, tucking the ball inside of the right post. Leighana Krzyzanowski (Ontario/Wayne Central) then converted a Kiliszek pass into the game-winner in the 66th minute.

Shots were even at 13-13 for the game, and Meghan Jarrell (Hamburg/Hamburg) had five saves for Buffalo State in the win.

The Bengals will next host Plattsburgh next Friday at 3 p.m.
