BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State's (2-1-3) offense came alive with a 7-0 victory over visiting Pitt-Bradford (2-3) in a non-conference matchup today at Coyer Field.
Kristina Boberskyj (Rochester/Greece-Odyssey) scored on a free kick early to start the scoring attack for the Bengals. Buffalo State then posted six goals in the second half en route to the win. Seniors
Vicki Wagner (Elmira/Elmira Free Academy) and
Leighana Krzyzanowski (Ontario/Wayne Central) each scored two goals, and
Barb Kiliszek (Depew/Lancaster) chipped in with a goal and three assists to lead the Bengals.
Mindy Wendt (Sanborn/Starpoint) scored a goal. Buffalo State outshot the Panthers 40-1 overall.
Buffalo State begins SUNYAC play this Saturday as they travel to Fredonia for a 7:00 p.m. game.
