BUFFALO, NY— Two overtime periods didn't produce a winner as Buffalo State (2-3-5/0-2-1) played to a 4-4 tie against local rival Medaille College (4-5-1) Wednesday afternoon at Coyer Field.

The Bengals fought back from a 3-1 second half deficit with goals from Kristina Boberskyj (Rochester/Greece-Odyssey) and Amanda Sauer (Orchard Park/Orchard Park). The Mavericks took a 4-3 lead on the third goal of the day by Laura Freeman (Kenmore, NY/Kenmore West) but Buffalo State responded yet again in the 83rd minute when Leighana Krzyzanowski (Ontario, Wayne Central) scored her second goal of the day.

Buffalo State held an overall shooting advantage of 37-14, including a 5-1 lead in the final overtime.

Buffalo State's next action is October 9 as they head to SUNY Oswego with game time set for 4:00 p.m.
