GENESEO, NY—Kelly Bergin netted three goals to lift host Geneseo (10-5/4-4) to a 3-2 victory over Buffalo State (9-5-2/5-2-1) in a SUNYAC game today, despite being outshot 20-10.

The Bengals rallied to tie the score on two separate occasions. Jordan Dudish (Grand Island/Grand Island) evened the score at 1-1 in the 52nd minute. Geneseo reclaimed the lead in the 60th minute, but Melissa Mahoney (Poughkeepsie/Ketcham) evened the score again just over two minutes later. Bergin added her third goal of the game off a corner in the 65th minute, however, and Geneseo held on for the win.

Virginia Porten (Auburn/Auburn) made four saves for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will end the SUNYAC regular season tomorrow at Brockport at 1 p.m.
