ONEONTA, NY—Oneonta (10-1/4-0) used its depth to pull away from visiting Buffalo State (5-5/0-4) en route to a 58-41 victory in a SUNYAC contest this afternoon.

Only five Bengals scored in the game, led by Staci McElroy (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs) who tallied 22 points. Barb Kiliszek (Depew/Lancaster) added eight points, four assists and five steals.

Buffalo State jumped out to a 15-9 advantage to start the game, but was outscored 49-26 the rest of the way. The Red Dragons got 20 points off the bench, compared to none by the Bengals. Oneonta also shot 41-percent for the game, compared to 24-percent by Buffalo State.

The Bengals will look for their first SUNYAC win on Wednesday at home against Fredonia at 6 p.m.
