ONEONTA, NY—Oneonta (7-6-1/5-2-1) netted the game's only goal in the 23rd minute and held on for a 1-0 win over visiting Buffalo State (6-9-1/1-6-1) in a SUNYAC game this afternoon.

The Red Dragons generated the game's only offense, slipping a shot inside the far right post midway through the first half.  Tina Boberskyj (Rochester/Greece-Odyssey) made seven saves as an emergency goalkeeper to keep the Bengals within striking distance, but Buffalo State could not net the equalizer. 

Oneonta held a narrow 9-7 edge in shots, and each team earned four corner kicks.

Buffalo State will wrap up the SUNYAC portion of its schedule tomorrow at New Paltz at 1 p.m.
