BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State (4-4-1/0-1-1) and Geneseo (7-1-1/1-0-1) battled for 110 minutes but ended with a 1-1 draw in a SUNYAC game today at Coyer Field.

The Knights took a 1-0 lead at the 25:08 mark of the first half, before Tina Boberskyj (Rochester/Greece Olympia) scored on a direct kick in the 32nd minute to tie the game.

The Bengals outshot Geneseo, 21-15, including a 3-1 advantage in the first overtime period. Virginia Porten (Auburn/Auburn) had six saves for Buffalo State, while Julia Sanger (Penfield/Fairport) had eight for the Knights.

Buffalo State will play at Fredonia next Saturday at 1 p.m.
