FARMINGDALE, NY—Buffalo State (2-1) was dealt its first loss of the season this afternoon, falling 2-0 to the host Rams (3-0) in the title game of the Farmingdale State Tournament.

Farmingdale netted goals in the 24th and 77th minutes to account for all of the game's offense. The Rams had a 12-10 advantage in shots, but Buffalo State directed six shots on goal compared to just five by Farmingdale.

Linda Banfield (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls-Lima) had just three saves between the pipes for Buffalo State.

The Bengals will travel to Troy, N.Y. next Saturday for the opening round of the RPI Tournament, where they will meet Union at noon.
