Shaunta Pyles scored the final goal of the game
Box Score POTSDAM, NY—Buffalo State (4-6-4/2-1-3) erased an early deficit with four unanswered goals from four different scorers to defeat host Potsdam (2-12-1/0-6), 4-1, in a SUNYAC contest this afternoon.

Potsdam opened the scoring connecting on its only shot of the first half just 7:04 into the contest, but Buffalo State answered quickly and took control of the game.  Kristin Seiferth (Brightwaters/Bay Shore) tied the game in the 12th minute, before Taylor Volkman (Wilton/S. Glens Falls) put the Bengals ahead just over two minutes later.

Meghan Allen (Big Flats/Corning East) added another goal in the 30th minute, and Shaunta Pyles (Rochester/Hilton) converted for the only offense of the second half to extend the Buffalo State advantage.

Allen, Katie Hennes (Hauppauge/Northport) and Shannon Yokopovich (Webster/Webster Thomas) all had assists for the Bengals.

Buffalo State finished with a 15-3 advantage in shots and a 7-0 edge in corner kicks.

The Bengals extended their unbeaten streak to five games and improved to 4-1-4 in their last nine games.
