Box Score BUFFALO, NY— Buffalo State (5-8-5) generated several quality chances in the first half, but could not break through, falling to St. John Fisher (7-6-4), 2-0, in the regular season finale today at Coyer Field.

The Bengals outplayed the Cardinals early, but could not convert on some early opportunities.  The Cardinals broke the scoreless tie with just seven seconds remaining in the first half.  Fisher added an insurance marker in the 82nd minute.

Each team attempted 12 shots.  Linda Banfield (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls-Lima) made six saves for Buffalo State.

Buffalo State will visit Cortland for a SUNYAC Quarterfinal matchup this Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
