Box Score CORTLAND, NY—Cortland's Rebecca Carucci scored just over a minute into the game and the fourth-seeded Red Dragons (9-4-5) blanked No. 5 Buffalo State (5-9-5), 3-0, in the quarterfinal round of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Soccer Championship.

The Bengals best scoring chance came with 22:10 left when Meghan Allen (Big Flats/Corning East) curled a corner kick off the top of the crossbar.  Cortland added goals in the 72nd and 84th minutes to close out all scoring.

The Red Dragons finished with an 18-12 advantage in shots, while Buffalo State had seven corner kicks to the Cortland's three.  Linda Banfield (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls-Lima) had four saves in the loss.
