Box Score PLATTSBURGH, NY—The No.1-ranked team in the nation Plattsburgh (5-0/2-0) opened the scoring less than two minutes into the game and remained in control the rest of the way for a 7-0 victory over visiting Buffalo State (0-4/0-3) in an ECAC West game today at Stafford Arena.
The Cardinals scored twice in the first, three more times in the second, and added two more goals in the final frame. Plattsburgh was 1 for 2 with the power-play, and Buffalo State was 0 for 3 in a relatively clean game for both teams.
Jordan Lee (Colorado Springs/Widefield) took the loss between the pipes for the Bengals despite making 53 saves, as Plattsburgh finished with a 60-13 advantage in shots.
Buffalo State will remain in Plattsburgh and face the Cardinals again tomorrow at 2 p.m.
