NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.—Freshman Micky Tinnerman (Salamanca/Salamanca) netter her first collegiate goal and Buffalo State (4-2-1) blanked host Westminster (4-4) , 1-0 , in a non-conference battle this afternoon.

Buffalo State controlled play from the opening whistle, outshooting the Titans 13-2 for the game, but could not break through until the 82nd minute. Tinnerman stole a pass from the Titan defender and slipped it into the open goal.

Linda Banfield (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls-Lima) needed to make just one save for the shutout.

Buffalo State will open SUNYAC play this Friday at home against Geneseo at 4 p.m.
