Box Score PURCHASE, NY—Buffalo State (1-1-1) dominated play for the majority of the night, but host Manhattanville (2-0-1) scored the game's only goal with just 1:05 remaining to steal a 1-0 victory today in the Valiant Invitational.

Buffalo State held the Valiants in check nearly all night and held a 15-4 advantage in shots. The Bengals had a 10-2 edge in shots in the second half, but Manhattanville's fourth and final shot of the game proved to be the difference.

Linda Banfield (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls-Lima) made two saves in the loss.

Buffalo State will battle Eastern Connecticut State tomorrow at 4:30 p.m.
