RESULTSBUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State completed an easy sweep in a dual meet over a visiting Wells College team that traveled abbreviated rosters to Kissinger Pool this afternoon, with the men's team prevailing 185-16, while the women won, 114-58.
Tim Petranchuk (Cheektowaga/Cheektowaga) won a pair of individual events on the men's side, touching first in the 1000 free (11:04.10) and in the 500 free (5:20.70). Other winners for the Bengals men's team contested by Wells included
Matt Ringer (Queensbury/Queensbury) in the 200 free (2:01.33),
Shawn Finn (Kenmore/Kenmore West) in the 50 free (23.99),
Tyler Minnick (Latham/Shaker) in the 200 IM (2:17.72), and
Tom DePasquale (Tonawanda/Kenmore West) in the 100 fly (58.12).
Briggs Sgaglio (Pound Ridge/Fox Lane) was a double-winner for the Bengals' women, claiming first in the 100 fly (1:06.65), and in the 100 breast (1:18.47). Also winning contested races on the women's side were
Michelle DelFavero (Auburn/Home Schooled) in the 200 free (2:08.46),
Asiah Abdulla (Lakeview/Frontier) in the 50 free (31.44),
Carly Cegelski (Lynbrook/Lynbrook) in the 100 free (1:07.09), and

Buffalo State will travel to Oswego next Saturday for a dual meet at 1 p.m.
