BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's and women's swimming and diving teams saw more podium finishes as they wrapped up their season at the SUNYAC Swimming and Diving Championships.

RESULTS

FOR THE BENGAL WOMEN

• Hannah Heil (Medina, NY/Medina) and Maggie Bilquin (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) led the way for the women as they both placed third in their respective events.
• Heil earned third in the 100 free with a school record time of 52.12.
• Bilquin earned third in the 200 breast with a school record time of 2:29.42.
• Maggie Parobek (Amherst, NY/Amherst) placed 10^th in the 200 fly with a time of 2:22.28.
• Claire Kasinski (Lancaster, NY/St. Mary's) also earned points finishing 13^th in the 200 back with a time of 2:22.42.
• Heil and Parobek teamed up with Julia Purpura (Buffalo, NY/Cleveland Hill) and Clare Hassett (Harleysville, PA/Souderton Area) to finish the meet with a fifth place finish in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:43.06.
• Hassett also earned 13th in the 1,650 free with a time of 20:02.63
• Overall, the women saw three individual school records and one school relay record fall during the meet.

 
FOR THE BENGAL MEN

• Matt Banks (Lancaster, NY/St. Joe's) finished eighth in the 200 fly with a time of 2:00.49.
• Chris Signore (Buffalo, NY/Canisius) finished 11^th in the 1,650 free with a time of 18:07.76.
