BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's and women's swimming and diving team returned to action today against Pitt-Bradford and Well College.
Hannah Heil (Medina, NY/Medina) broke the 13-year old pool record in the 50 free with a time of 24.84, besting the previous mark of 24.87.

Men's Notables:
- Chris Signore (Buffalo, NY/Canisius) earned the win in the 1,000 free with a time of 11:26.06.
- Matt Banks (Lancaster, NY/St. Joe's) picked up two individual wins in the 100 fly with a time of 55.11 and 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:08.11.
- Colby Riexinger (Brockport, NY/Brockport) and Sean Mahaney (Alden, NY/Alden) each picked up an individual win as well.
- The four teamed up to close out the meet with a win in the 400 free relay with a winning time of 3:33.67.
Women's Notables:
- Heil set the tone today as she broke the pool record in the 50 free by .03.
- She would later go on to take first in the 100 free with a season best time of 54.88.
- The Bengal women earned first place in all but one event on the night.
- Heil teamed up with Maggie Parobek (Amherst, NY/Amherst), Brianna Garcia (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore West), and Clare Hassett (Harleysville, PA/Souderton Area) to close out the meet with a winning 400 free relay time of 3:57.11.
