BUFFALO, N.Y.— Connor Mergler (E. Amherst/Williamsville North) won his second title of the meet, finishing as the co-champion in the 200 free as Buffalo State finished up the second full day at the SUNYAC Championships tonight at the Flickinger Aquatic Center.

NOTABLES

• Mergler defended his title in the 200 free in a dead heat with Geneseo's Jeff Doser, each posting a time of 1:40.22.  Mergler swam an NCAA B-cut time of 1:39.84 in the prelims.
• Dan Kuznetsov (Williamsville/Williamsville South) also competed in the finals in the 200 free, touching seventh (1:46.36).
• Mergler also joined Jake Brigham (Binghamton/Binghamton), Cody Wittmeyer (Boston/Hamburg) and Kyle Callan (Henrietta/Rush-Henrietta) to place fourth in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:38.31.
• Wittmeyer and Tom DePasquale (Tonawanda/Kenmore West) were 10^th (52.73) and 13^th (53.04) respectively in the 100 fly.  Wittmeyer's mark set the school record.
• Justin Moser (Tonawanda/Kenmore East) and Dante Peters (Cheektowaga/Maryvale) scored on the 3-meter diving board, finishing 11^th (429.95) and 15^th (316.90) respectively.
• Tyler Minnick (Latham/Shaker) placed 15^th in the 400 IM (4:41.10).
