BUFFALO, N.Y. – Diver
Justin Moser (Tonawanda/Kenmore East) qualified for the NCAA regional meet while
Drew Deren (Orchard Park/Orchard Park),
Angela McCauley (Schenectady/Home Schooled) and
Michelle Viera (Smithtown/Smithtown West) were all triple-winners as both the men's and women's swimming and diving earning victories over visiting Wells College and Pitt-Bradford in the tri-meet this afternoon in the Kissinger Pool.

WOMEN'S NOTABLES
- McCauley touched first in the 200 fly (2:15.15), 200 back (2:24.14) and the 500 free (5:47.95).
- Viera picked up event wins in the 1000 free (12:48.67), 100 breast (1:17.69) and the 200 breast (2:50.80).
- Elizabeth Mitchell (Grand Island/Grand Island) added a first place finish in both the 100 back (1:08.15) and the 100 free (58.34).
- Emily DiMayo (Middleport/Royalton-Hartland) also recorded a victory, touching first in the 50 free (28.81) and teamed up with Julia Vasconez (Brooklyn/James Madison), Sarah Harter (Holland Patent/Holland Patent) and Jessica Nowak (West Seneca/West Seneca West) to claim the 200 medley relay title with a time of 2:08.38.
- Kelly Lindner (West Seneca/West Seneca West) claimed the meet's diving events with a mark of 208.20 in the 1-meter and 196.73 in the 3-meter competition.
MEN'S NOTABLES
- Deren led the Bengals on the men's side, winning the 1000 free (10:38.97), 200 fly (2:08.62) and the 500 free (5:08.82).
- Cody Wittmeyer (Hamburg/Hamburg) tallied two individual wins, touching first in the 100 back (59.90) and the 100 fly (53.86), while joining Josh Bartel (Kenmore/Cherry Hill East), Dylan Robb (Lockport/Lockport) and Wesley Van (Ithaca/Ithaca) in winning the 200 medley relay (1:45.24).
- Bartel and Robb each also claimed victory in the 200 back (2:06.35) and the 100 free (52.83) respectively.
- Moser swept the diving events with a mark of 305.55 in the 1-meter and 283.58 in the 3-meter.
NOTEWORHY
- Justin Moser and Kelly Lindner both set pool records in the 11-dive scores for the 1-meter and 3-meter board, marking the first time in program history that 11-dives have been conducted at Buffalo State.
- Moser tallied 484.41 points on the 1-meter board and 484.66 on the 3-meter board.
- Lindner finished with 347.25 on the 1-meter board and 366.59 on the 3-meter board.
