OSWEGO, N.Y. – Buffalo State dropped its first dual meet since Nov. 9 today against a deep Oswego team, falling 191.5-64.5 in the men's competition and 200-63 on the women's side.

MEN'S NOTABLES
- Ryan Mahaney (Alden/Alden) and Cody Wittmeyer (Hamburg/Hamburg) each posted individual win to lead the men's side, with Mahany claiming the 200 fly title (2:11.57) and Wittmeyer swimming to a first-place tie in the 100 fly (53.69).
- Wittmeyer also posted a trio of second place finishing, including the 50 free (22.50), 100 free (50.04) and teaming up with James Purpura (Cheektowaga/Cleveland Hill), Wesley Van (Ithaca/Ithaca) and Shane Breen (Middle Village/Middle Village) to touch second in the 200 free relay (1:32.45).
- Breen also placed second in the 500 free (5:19.15) and the 200 free (1:53.68).
- Zach Nau (Spencerport/Spencerport) added second-place finishes in 100 back (57.63) and 200 IM (2:17.74).
WOMEN'S NOTABLES
- Michelle Viera (Smithtown/Smithtown) paced the women's side by placing second in the 100 breast (1:17.04), 200 breast (2:44.97) and 200 IM (2:33.81).
- Abbie Ettinger (Buffalo/Kenmore East) touched second in the 100 free (58.90) and the 200 free (2:08.23), while joining Julie Vasconez (Brooklyn/James Madison), Jessica Nowak (West Seneca/West Seneca West) and Kelsey Hucks (Rochester/Young Women's College Prep) to claim a second-place finish in the 200 free relay (1:58.70).
- Lexi Cramer (Akron/Akron) also added a second place finish in the 500 free (6:11.70).
- Julia Moore (West Seneca/West Seneca West) finished second on the 3-meter board with 181.58 points and fourth in the 1-meter competition with 166.80 points.
NOTEWORTHY
- Sarah Harter (Holland Patent/Holland Patent) and Ettinger each qualified for the SUNYAC Championships in the 100 breast, with a time of 1:21.40, and 200 free with a time of 2:08.23 respectively.
