Buffalo State annually holds its Student-Athlete Academic Luncheon in conjunction with NCAA Division III Week, and although this year's event was canceled, the Bengals are pleased to announce their 2020 Class of Chi Alpha Sigma National Student-Athlete Honors Society.
 
The 17 members of this year's class brings Buffalo State's total to 103 inductees since beginning the initiative in 2016.  In order to qualify for induction, a student-athlete must be a member of a varsity athletics team in good standing, be in his/her fifth semester at the college or at any point beyond that, and must be maintaining a minimum 3.40 cumulative GPA.
