OSWEGO, N.Y. – With the upcoming SUNYAC Championships just a month away, the Buffalo State men's and women's swimming and diving teams fell to Oswego in the final dual match of the season Wednesday afternoon.

WOMEN'S NOTABLES
- Hannah Heil (Medina, N.Y./Medina) picked up the lone victory for the women in her return to the pool, earning another impressive victory in the 50-yard freestyle (25.62).
- Maggie Parobek (Amherst, NY/Amherst) finished second in the 100-yard butterfly (1:06.09) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.91).
- Brianna Garcia (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore West) also placed second, earning a time of 1:00.89 in the 100-yard freestyle.
MEN'S NOTABLES
- It was a clean sweep on the boards for Branden Rivers (Lockport, N.Y./Lockport), who edged out Oswego's Eric Dzierzgowski with a six-dive score of 188.25 at one-meter and a score of 220.50 at 3-meters.
- Wesley Van (Ithaca, NY/Ithaca) placed second in a close race in the 100-yard freestyle, swimming in a time of 52.11.
- Sean Mahaney (Alden, NY/Alden) placed second, earning a time of 11:39.34 in the 1,000-yard freestyle.
- Zach Nau (Spencerport/Spencerport) also earned a second-place finish with a time of 1:08.17 in the 100-yard backstroke.
