BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Buffalo State swimming and diving teams returned to the pool for the 2022 Buffalo State Bengal Relays, featuring Division II Gannon and Roberts Wesleyan. The meet was non-scored and consisted of all mixed relays.

- The Bengals saw their best finish with three fourth-place finishes among the 11-event meet.
- The 800 free relay of Chris Signore (Buffalo, NY/Canisius), Clare Hassett (Harleysville, PA/Souderton Area), Sonya Strong (Cheektowaga, NY/Maryvale), and BB Garcia (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore West) finished with a time of 9:05.00.
- Strong teamed up with Arielle McNitt (East Amherst, NY/Williamsville North), Hailey Hankinson (N. Tonawanda, NY/N. Tonawanda), and Sean Mahaney (Alden, NY/Alden) for the 500 crescendo relay; finishing with a time of 5:30.70.
- To close out the meet, Matt Banks (Lancaster, NY/St. Joes), Hannah Heil (Medina, NY/Medina), Hassett, and Garcia finished the 400 free relay with a time of 3:56.56.
