ITHACA, NY – The Buffalo State swimming and diving teams competed this weekend at the Ithaca Invitational. The team saw the likes of Ithaca, Fredonia, and Hobart/William Smith.

FOR THE BENGAL MEN
- Matt Banks (Lancaster, NY/St. Joe's) led the men's side with a second place finish in the 50 fly (25.33) and a third place finish in the 100 fly (56.21).
- Colby Riexinger (Brockport, NY/Brockport) earned third in the 50 back with a time of 28.81.
- The two teamed up with Sean Mahaney (Alden, NY/Alden) and Chris Signore (Buffalo, NY/Canisius) in the 200 free relay to finish with a time of 1:37.40.
FOR THE BENGAL WOMEN
- Hannah Heil (Medina, NY/Medina) led the way for the women with a victory in the 100 free with a time of 56.75. Heil would finish third in the 50 free (25.64).
- Sadie Pratt-Filker (New York, NY/King Edward VI) and Maggie Bilquin (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) would finish 2-3 in the 100 breaststroke with times of 1:09.13, and 1:12.58 respectively.
- The breaststroke duo would later go on and finish 2-3 again in the 50 breast: 32.63, and 33.30 respectively.
