BUFFALO, NY – Fresh off their first win in program history, the Buffalo State acrobatics and tumbling team is set to return to the mats tonight as they travel to Caldwell University to battle the Cougars at 6:00 pm. This will be the Bengals final road trip of their inaugural season.

Breaking Down The Bengals

• Buffalo State is 1-3 on the year after defeating Adrian College 168.955-131.450 last time out to earn their first win in program history.
• The Bengals tallied their highest scoring six-element routine in program history as the team of Lindsay DeBoth (Amherst, NY/Amherst), Mia Oppy (Guilderland, NY/Guilderland), Guinevere Brickman (Climax, NY/Greenville), Charmiya Dozier (Baldwinsville, NY/CW Baker), Codie Ryan (Owings, MD/Northern), and Leah Brown (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville South) scored 6.80 points.
• In the tumbling events, the Bengals won two heats as the team of Dozier, Bri Rohrer (Cheektowaga, NY/Depew), and Jackie Heyden (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) won the trio pass heat with 7.600 points and Lucy Ingro (Newfane, NY/Newfane) won the open heat with a score of 8.200 points.
• To clinch the win, Buffalo State competed in their first team routine where they scored 45.530 points and also finished with their most points in a competition in program history.

 
Concern With The Cougars

• Caldwell holds a record of 2-1 on the year.
• Last time out, the Cougars earned a 183.190-172.785 victory over Georgian Court University.
• In the tumbling event, the Cougars scored 8.550 points in the duo pass heat with the team of Elia Cardone and Piper Fitzmaurice.
• In the ariel pass, Jill Riggio scored 8.175 points for Caldwell.
