MEET PROGRAM
THE MATCHUP… The Bengals are set to kick off their championship season as they will head to Plattsburgh for SUNYAC Championships. The men will look to climb up the ranks after finishing 6
th a season ago while the women will also look to climb from a 9
th place finish a year ago. The men last won a SUNYAC title back in 1969 while the women are still in search of their first in program history.
 
THE BENGAL MEN BREAKDOWN… The men have posted a strong season in 2025 with the duo of 
Noah Holden (Clarence Center, NY/Clarence) and 
Ricky Curiel (East Amherst, NY/Clarence) leading the charge. Both Holden and Curiel sit in the top-15 on an 8k course in program history and Holden is also coming off a Second Team All-SUNYAC honor a year ago.
THE BENGAL WOMEN BREAKDOWN… Lexi Hoffman (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore East) and 
Jorja Smith (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) have been the top duo on the women's side this season. Finishing 1-2 in every race this season, they look to lead the women's side in their climb up the standings this time around.
ASSESSING THE COMPETITION… Buffalo State will see the likes of Canton, Cobleskill, Cortland, Delhi, Fredonia, Morrisville, New Paltz, Oneonta, Oswego, Plattsburgh, and Potsdam.
Cortland swept both the men's and women's side a year ago. Among active SUNYAC schools, the Red Dragons lead the way with 15 titles on the men's side and 17 on the women's side.
