ROCHESTER, NY – The Buffalo State men's and women's cross country finished their 2025 season at the NCAA Niagara Regional Meet this afternoon hosted by RIT at Genesee Valley Park. The Bengal men finished 14
th overall while the women finished 18
th overall.
THE BENGAL BREAKDOWN
- Ricky Curiel (East Amherst, NY/Clarence) paced the Bengal men finishing 30th overall with a time of 26:07. Curiel also earned All-Region honors, the first on the men's side since Alex Ngabo in 2012. Ronni Kordrupel was the last Bengal to earn the honor in cross country back in 2018.
- Noah Holden (Clarence Center, NY/Clarence) finished 60th overall on the 8k course with a time of 26:54.
- On the women's side, Jorja Smith (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) finished the 6k race with a time of 25:48 while Lexi Hoffman (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore East) finished shortly behind at 26:05.
- For the men, the results match their best team finish since 2012 while the results were the women's best finish since at least 2007.
