Acrobatics & Tumbling Falls Short In Matchup With Stevenson

STEVENSON, MD – The Buffalo State acrobatics and tumbling team fell short against the Stevenson Mustangs with a final score of 170.150-165.875 at the Owings Mills Gymnasium.

The Bengal Breakdown
  • Stevenson jumped out to an early lead following the compulsory event.
  • The Bengals responded in the acro event scoring a 7.00 in the six-element to win the heat over the Mustangs.
  • Heading into the break, Stevenson held a narrow 67.15-55.05 lead.
  • Coming out of halftime, Buffalo State began to close the gap winning the 450 Salto and Open Heats of the toss event.
  • The Bengals also outscored Stevenson in the Trio Pass and Ariel Pass heats of the tumbling event.
  • In the team event, the Bengals outscored the Mustangs 52.95-50.10. However, Stevenson was able to hang on to earn the win.
 
UP NEXT
The Bengals return to action on April 6 as they will travel to Duquesne University.
