Acrobatics & Tumbling Falls To Concordia-Wisconsin In NCATA Division III Quarterfinal

BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State acrobatics and tumbling team fell short against the Concordia-Wisconsin Falcons with a score of 226.090-186.150 in their quarterfinal matchup of the NCATAT Division III Tournament at the Sports Arena.

The Bengal Breakdown
  • The Falcons opened the matchup scoring 31.125 points in the compulsory event. Buffalo State scored a 22.575 but faced just 3.43 points in deductions. The Bengals also won the pyramid heat of the event.
  • Buffalo State then scored a 22.500 in the acro event before finishing the first half with a score of 26.125 in the pyramid. The best heat across the two events for the Bengals was the open pyramid heat where they scored an 8.825.
  • Heading into halftime, the Falcons led 84.400-71.200.
  • Coming out of the break, the Bengals won the synchronized and open heats of the toss event and finished with a total score of 7.850
  • In the duo pass of the tumbling event, Lucy Ingro (Newfane, NY/Newfane) and Adrienne Gardner (Fairfield, CA/St. Patrick-St. Vincent) won their heat scoring a 7.450. Gardner then returned to win the open pass scoring a 7.850.
