Football Announces 2025 Schedule

BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State football team has announced its 2025 schedule for the upcoming fall season. Led by head coach Lazarus Morgan, the Bengals will play ten games with five on the road and five on Coyer Field. Buffalo State will also play seven Liberty League contests as part of their sixth season in the conference.
 
Morgan's squad will open the season with a pair of home matchups featuring the annual I-90 Bowl against Brockport (Sept. 4) and a battle with Hartwick (Sept. 13) for the first time since the 2018 season. The Bengals will then travel to Alfred State (Sept. 20) before finishing the regular season with seven straight Liberty League games.
 
Buffalo State will open conference play on the road at Hilbert (Sept. 27) before hosting Union for Homecoming (Oct. 4). The Bengals will then be on the road at RPI (Oct. 11), home against Rochester (Oct. 25), at Ithaca (Nov. 1), home against St. Lawrence (Nov. 8), and on the road at Hobart (Nov. 15) to close out the regular season.
 
Hobart enters the 2025 season as the reigning-conference champions after posting a perfect 6-0 Liberty League record and 9-2 record overall. Buffalo State earned a Liberty League win over Rochester during the 2024 season, their first conference win since 2019.
