Cross Country Races Yellowjacket Invite

ROCHESTER, NY – The Buffalo State men's and women's cross country teams had a strong showing this afternoon as the Yellowjacket Invite hosted by the University of Rochester at Genesee Valley Park.
 
THE BENGAL BREAKDOWN
  • Ricky Curiel (East Amherst, NY/Clarence) lead the Bengal men finishing 36th overall with a time of 26:29 with Noah Holden (Clarence Center, NY/Clarence) finishing in 60th with a mark of 26:59.
  • The men finished 11th overall out of 24 teams scoring 337 points.
  • Leading the way for the women was Jorja Smith (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) with a time of 26:03 with Lexi Hoffman (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore East) finishing behind her at 26:52.
  • As a team the women finished 21st overall.
 
UP NEXT
Buffalo State returns to action on October 4 as they will travel for the Fredonia Invite.
