BUFFALO, NY – Jeadi Higdon (Syracuse, NY/Corcoran) of the Buffalo State football team has been named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week for his respective performance this past weekend. Higdon earns the honor for the first time in his career.
Higdon had a strong showing for the Bengals as they defeated Hilbert to open conference play and secure their first win of the season. Higdon posted his first career 100-yard rushing performance going for 101 yards on 18 carries. Higdon had a long of 18 and averaged 5.6 yards/carry. On the year, Higdon leads the Bengal rushing room with 242 yards and a trio of touchdowns.
