BUFFALO, NY – All-Region honorees for the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field season were announced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). To earn this honor, athletes must finish in the top-8 in their respective individual events, or the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.
Buffalo State saw three athletes recognized in
Jalil Coppedge (Bronx, NY/Ralph R. McKee),
Nyla Wilson-Epps (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry), and
Natalia Sawyer (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont)
Coppedge earns the second All-Region honor of his career in the 60-meter hurdles after also earning the recognition in the same event last season. He opened the season with a time of 8.36 seconds in the event to break his own school record that he set last season. At the regional meet, Coppedge finished 16
th in the event with a time of 8.37 seconds.
Wilson-Epps earns the first All-Region honor of her career in the weight throw. Wilson-Epps finished 11
th in the event at SUNYAC Championships and then set a new personal best with a mark of 15.93 meters at the regional meet; good for an eighth place finish.
Sawyer earned All-Region distinction in the 60-meter hurdles as well as the 200-meter and 400-meter runs. She was the SUNYAC Champion in the hurdles and finished second in both the 200-meter and 400-meter. Sawyer qualified for NCAA Indoor Championships in the 60-meter hurdles and aims to win her fourth career national title.
