BUFFALO, NY – Maggie Bilquin (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) raced to a third place finish and set a new school record in the 100 breast to cap-off Day 3 of the SUNYAC Swimming and Diving Championships.
RESULTS
FOR THE BENGAL WOMEN
- Bilquin set the school record in the prelims with a time of 1:07.69. At finals, Bilquin would lower her time with a 1:07.27 to finish third.
- Maggie Parobek (Amherst, NY/Amherst) finished 11th in the 100 breast with a 1:10.91.
- Hannah Heil (Medina, NY/Medina) raced to an 11th place finish in the 200 free with a time of 1:58.56.
- The trio teamed up with Claire Kasinski (Lancaster, NY/St. Mary's) to finish sixth in the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:13.12.
- Kasinski also placed 16th in the individual 100 back with a time of 1:06.76.
FOR THE BENGAL MEN
- Matt Banks (Lancaster, NY/St. Joe's) moved up a spot from prelims and finished seventh in the 100 fly with a time of 53.35.
- Chris Signore (Buffalo, NY/Canisius) placed 16th in the 400 IM with a time of 4:47.64.
UP NEXT
Tomorrow will be the final day of competition that will feature Bengals in the 100 free, 200 back, 200 fly, 200 breast, 1,650 free, and 400 free relay.
