Softball Releases 2025 Schedule

BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State softball team released their 2025 schedule on Thursday afternoon, which features their annual trip to Clermont, Florida for The Spring Games, as well as six home doubleheaders and seven doubleheaders on the road.

With head coach Jamie Brown at the helm, the Bengals look for their fifth trip to the SUNYAC Tournament in seven seasons.

Buffalo State embarks on their 12-game Florida schedule from March 16-22, with matchups against three squads that appeared in the 2024 NCAA Tournament: University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Framingham State, and Edgewood College.

The Bengals will round out the rest of their games against Augsburg University, former SUNYAC-foe SUNY Geneseo, Clarkson University, Keuka College, Springfield College, Worcester State University, University of Wisconsin- River Falls, Farmingdale State College, and Colby College.

Buffalo State returns to New York at the end of March, hosting three home-doubleheaders, starting with another former SUNYAC-foe, SUNY Brockport on March 27. The team will then jump into SUNYAC play with Cortland on April 4 and Morrisville on April 5.

The Bengals will then hit the road to go on a three-game away doubleheader stretch with visits to Nazareth University on April 9, Potsdam on April 11, and Plattsburgh 12.

The Bengals will return home to host Penn State-Behrend in a non-conference doubleheader on April 15 and then once again hit the road with battles at Canton on April 18 and Oswego State on April 19.

Buffalo State will stay on the road as they travel to last season's Liberty League Champions University of Rochester Yellowjackets for a matchup on April 23 before finishing their final road matchup with a SUNYAC matchup at Fredonia on April 26.

The Bengals will finish the 2025 season at home, hosting back-to-back doubleheaders against Oneonta on May 2 before finishing their season against New Paltz on May 3.

The SUNYAC Tournament will take place from May 8-11, hosted by the top seed.
