Buffalo State enters this week's contest 2-3 overall and is still in search of its first win in Empire 8 play at 0-2. The Bengals dropped a 20-7 decision to Salisbury last week, as the Sea Gulls ran the ball 68 times, compared to just three pass attempts. Utica is 2-2 overall and 0-1 in league play, losing 40-22 at Ithaca last week.  This is the first-ever meeting between Buffalo State and Utica.
