1960-1964 

- Scherer set the school record for pole vault at 11’ 6” inches in 1962. 

- He was undefeated in 4 years of varsity diving. 

- He co-captained the team in 1962-1964. 

- Scherer was the SUNYAC Diving Champion 2 years in a row. 

- He received All-American honors in 1964 by placing 4th in the nation on both the 1m and 3m boards at the college Nationals.
