1979-1983 

- Lewis lettered three years in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track. 

- He captained the 1980-1981 track team and won the 800 meter title in both the SUNYAS and 
NYSTF Championships in that season. 

- He was awarded All-American honors in 1980 for both the 800 meter and 1600 meter relay outdoor track events in the NCAA. 

- Won the Bengal award as Outstanding Male Athlete for 1980-1981.
