1964-1968
-Michael was captain of the cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams.
-He established several school records in track including the indoor 440-yard run.
-He became the only runner in Buffalo State history to win six events in one track meet.
-Collopy won SUNYAC and New York State Championships and in 1968 earned All-America honors in the 1,500-meter run.
-He went on to coach cross country and track and field at Buffalo State from 1977-82 where he mentored 21 All-Americans, was named the New York State Intercollegiate Athletics Coach of the Year in 1981.
